THE FOUNDER'S LEGACY

Jai Nandan Singh (J. N. Singh)

A life associated with public movements, workers' representation and the pursuit of social equality.

Jai Nandan Singh was associated with the historic JP Movement and emerged as an active voice in the social and democratic movements of his generation.

After joining the State Bank of India, he became deeply involved in staff and trade-union activities.

His public and organisational work focused on workers' rights, labour welfare, reducing discrimination and supporting people through medical relief initiatives.

Vijaya Singh

Associated with the JP Movement, Vijaya Singh has remained engaged with social causes and women's welfare.

Her work has included support for women's rights, community mobilisation and humanitarian assistance.

During her public life, she also travelled to the Soviet Union as part of an Indian delegation.

Kumar Rounak

Kumar Rounak represents the next generation of the Trust's public-service journey.

During his college years, he established an independent initiative focused on animal welfare.

Following the passing of his father, Jai Nandan Singh, he assumed responsibility as Secretary of JVR Trust.
